Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Restoring Significance and Dr. Aaron Summers collect, use, and protect information when you visit this website or reach out for services. It covers information you choose to provide and information collected automatically through website analytics.
What Information We Collect
We collect two kinds of information. The first kind is information you choose to provide. This happens in these ways:
Contact form submissions. When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect your first name, last name, email address, the topic of your inquiry, your church or organization name if provided, and your message.
Email correspondence. If you email us directly at aaron@restoringsignificance.com, we receive and store that correspondence.
Resource download forms. The forms on the Resources page are provided by Kit, an email service. When you submit one, Kit collects the contact information you enter, such as your name and email address, so we can send you the resource you requested. Kit may store that information as a subscriber record in our Kit account.
Scheduling. If you book a call through Calendly, the information you give Calendly is described under Third-Party Services below.
The second kind of information is collected automatically.
Website analytics. This website uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to measure website visits and interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar browser identifiers. It may collect technical information such as your device, browser, and approximate location, along with your browsing activity on this site, such as the pages you view, the links you click, and how you arrived. Analytics data is separate from the information you choose to give us through the contact form, Kit forms, or Calendly. The messages and form entries you submit are not sent to Google Analytics.
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. The analytics tag on this website has Google signals and advertising personalization turned off. We do not use advertising pixels on this website.
How We Use Your Information
Information you submit through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add contact form submissions to any mailing list or marketing campaign without your explicit consent.
We use the contact information you submit through a resource form to deliver the resource you requested. Requesting a resource does not by itself sign you up for unrelated marketing emails. If a form offers email updates or other communications beyond the resource, that form will say so, and we will send them only if you agree.
We use analytics information to understand how people find and use this website and to improve it.
If you subscribe to The Church Brain newsletter on Substack, that subscription is governed by Substack's own privacy policy, not this one.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate this website, deliver resources, manage scheduling, and measure website traffic. These services are:
Calendly. If you book a call through this site, you will be directed to Calendly at calendly.com/aaronwsummers. Any information you provide to Calendly is subject to Calendly's own privacy policy. We do not control how Calendly handles your data.
Kit. We use Kit to deliver resources and manage subscriber information. Kit provides the resource download forms on this site, collects the contact information you enter in them, and may store it as a subscriber record in our Kit account. Kit handles that information under Kit's privacy policy.
Netlify. This website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information as part of normal hosting operations. This is governed by Netlify's privacy policy.
Google Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may collect limited technical information as part of serving those fonts. This is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Google Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and interactions, as described above. Google may use cookies or similar browser identifiers and may collect the technical information described above. This is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Period.
We do share information with the service providers listed above, but only as needed for them to operate this website, deliver resources, manage scheduling, and measure website traffic. Sharing information with a service provider for those purposes is not selling it. Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions and email correspondence are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of our communications. If you request deletion of your information, we will honor that request promptly.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion of your information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
