Thirty Years of Ministry Across Three States

Aaron grew up in Tennessee and graduated from Union University in 1992. He went on to earn his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996, then spent the next two-plus decades serving churches across Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas.

In 2023, he completed his Doctor of Ministry at Southwestern, focusing his research on the intersection of church health, pastoral transitions, and organizational revitalization. That academic work built directly on what he had been doing in the field for years.

Today Aaron serves as Director of Pastorless Church Ministries at Texas Baptists, where he trains and places interim pastors and coaches churches through pastoral transitions across the state. That role keeps him at the front lines of what churches face during their most vulnerable seasons, and it informs every consulting and coaching engagement he takes outside of that role.

Through Restoring Significance, Aaron works with individuals, churches, businesses, and non-profits nationwide to restore clarity of purpose, strengthen leadership, and build momentum for what is next.

The Personal Side

Aaron is married to Dulcie. They have two children, Samuel and Isabella, and currently live in Fort Worth, TX. When the week is done, you are likely to find Aaron and Dulcie in their RV somewhere quiet, resting and recharging for whatever comes next.

He is a fan of college football, a student of church history, and someone who takes his barbecue seriously. He preaches from the CSB and brings an expository style to every pulpit.

Aaron sees his personal interests and his professional work as connected. Rest, relationships, and good food are not distractions from the mission. They are part of how he stays healthy enough to serve at full capacity over the long haul.

That same conviction shapes how he coaches others. Restoration is not just organizational. It is personal, and it starts with the person in front of him.
